SOKKIA GPI2A Gyro Total Station - Determines True North and True Azimuth

SOKKIA GPI-2A Gyro Total Station
GPI-2A Gyro Total Station

The GP1-2A Gyro Station lets you determine true north with 20" accuracy in approximately twenty minutes.

Use it to :

bullet

Obtain azimuth readings within tunnels and other enclosed environments where conventional methods can’t be used.

bullet

Determine directions for roads, railways, power lines and other long, narrow construction projects.

bullet

Check navigational devices.

bullet

Measure anomalies in geomagnetic surveys.

bullet

Orient radio communication antennae.

A GP1 Gyroscope is combined with a SET3110 electronic total station, making the system fully automatic. An internal clock, CPU with memory and special on-board software eliminate the need for manual calculations. And because all gyro functions are controlled by the external keyboard, the SET3110 remains full functional. It’s like getting two instruments in one!
The GP1-2A offers two methods for seeking true north. Use the follow-up method for precision and accuracy or the line method for a provisional determination.
