Sokkia’s
DT500, DT500A and DT600 are the most versatile electronic theodolites you
can buy. With an IP66 dust and water resistance rating the DT500, DT500A
and DT600 operate dependably even where conventional theodolites do not,
such as in sudden showers, continuous drizzling rain, high humidity or
dry, dusty construction sites.

theodolites do not
The vertical and horizontal angles are electronically read and displayed
on a large, easy to read, two-line LCD display. The automatic vertical
circle indexing means you can achieve a level of accuracy not possible
with other instruments in this price range. Two regular C-cell batteries
are all that is needed to run the DTs, doubling the operating time.
All job functions
are operated using only 4 keys: Illumination on/off key, “0” set key,
Angle measurement mode selection key and Hold/Release key.

DT500 features displays on both sides of the instrument. The DT500A and
DT600 have one display. All three instruments have selectable 5" or
10" readouts. Both the DT500 and DT500A have RS232 output. The DT500
has a dual axis liquid tilt sensor
